I have a Acer Aspire laptop w/ windows (?) and the CD drive doesn't work? NEED HELP!? - how does a two year cd work
The last CD has worked on Christmas Day. Since you can put a disc and just ignore it! The laptop is not even two years! My feeling is that maybe an update was not installed correctly, and now the drive is not because it works. How do I solve this problem?

The CD-ROM only worked for one day?
If you have a CD and open My Computer and left mouse button on the CD-ROM shows you the contents of the CD-ROM or require you to insert a CD?
Right-click the CD-ROM drive in My Computer and select Properties. In the Properties window, click the Hardware tab. In the list, click once on the CD-ROM and click the Properties button at the bottom of the window (I know) a bit redundant. In this window, select the Driver tab. You can try to undo the driver here, but if it is gray then you have the original driver assembly.
